Dr. Dan Griffiths lectures this class. God has spoken through the ages to people through audible means, vision, dreams, trances, miracles, signs, and small whispers. This course will discuss Biblical examples of how God speaks. The course will then focus on the prophetic ministry, covering both the role of the Old Testament prophets and now the role of New Testament prophets and the prophetic gifting. Special topics of the prophetic will be discussed including discernment, words of knowledge, dreams, interpretation, and other topics. This course will focus on the biblical foundation of prophetic ministry, the history of its use, and primarily, “how to prophesy.”
